Comstock: Duty and Loyalty

So many people in financial advisory roles make commissions by selling you investments that it’s hard to know if they’re recommending something for your benefit or for theirs. In fact, a broker’s fiduciary responsibility is to the best interest of the funds he represents, not to the individual he advises. At Comstock, we eliminated this conflict of interest by refusing to broker products. As a fee-only advisory firm, we have no financial incentive to recommend one investment over another. Our duty and loyalty are to you, our valued client.
